In these lectures,the Bernoulli,tent,logistic maps are first discussed.Then theperiod-doubling route to chaos;intermittency;Frobenius-Perron equation;invariant density;two-dimensional maps;Baker transformation,and cat map are introduced.,The questions of when are twodynamical systems the same ? Whenare they different ?are natural questions.These ideas lead tothe idea of topological conjugacy and topological equivalence.
