7741 Views Geophyscial Methods of Groundwater Exploration.

Groundwater is one of the most precious natural water resources. Large section of the population of the globe depends on the groundwater resources for using it as a drinking water source. However this resource is not readily and easily available because it is hidden from the view. Therefore,search for the groundwater resources requires through understanding of the subsurface geological conditions. Several methods of searching for the groundwater resources is available ranging from traditional dowsing methods to most modern geophysical methods.
